Usable range after the terrain penalty and a reserve you do not plan to spend.
Your own figure, loaded — not the window sticker.
Defaults to 20.
Enter tank capacity and your own observed consumption. The window sticker figure is not what a loaded rig on dirt returns.
What it needs
- Main tank (gal), required
- Aux tank / jerry cans (gal), optional
- Observed consumption (mpg), required — Your own figure, loaded — not the window sticker.
- Terrain, optional
- Reserve held back (%), optional — Defaults to 20.
