AdventureOS uses two kinds of cookies. No third-party tracking cookies, ever.

Functional cookies

• Authentication session (set by Supabase) — keeps you signed in. Required for the app to work.
• Theme preference (adventureos.theme) — remembers whether you picked light, dark, or system theme.

Acknowledgement

We show a one-time banner letting you know cookies exist. Dismissing it sets a single flag (adventureos.cookies-acknowledged) so we don't show it again.

What we don't use

• No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising trackers.
• No cross-site cookies. No third-party tag managers.

Opting out

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The auth session cookie is required to sign in — without it, you can browse public content but can't log adventures.
